This, the original Cheeseburger In Paradise, offers a dining experience par excellence in one of the most interesting and picturesque locations on Lahaina's Front Street. First opened in October 1989,
the restaurant is on the site of what was known as the old Organ
Grinder. And although everyone agreed that it was one of the
very best locations on Lahaina's Front St. -- upstairs and oceanfront
with nothing but a low seawall to its left. |

Mama's Fish House is actually a converted beach house in a coconut grove on a secluded white sand beach. Inside, hinged windows open to let in the tradewinds and Polynesian artifacts and original oil paintings decorate tropical hardwood walls. The rooms are filled with spectacular flower arrangements and tapa print cloths cover the tables. Outdoor dining is equally exciting, and everyone enjoys watching the windsurfers performing offshore.

At the Waterfront Restaurant it's a family affair with the Smith family, Mom, Gary, and Rick. Thier family owned and operated restaurant has one common goal. To take the freshest food, prepare it like nothing you've ever had before and serve it in a style that is traditional and elegant. They are a favorite among locals and visitors alike. They have received a FIVE STAR RATING from Honolulu Magazine, have placed first in the 'Best Service' category for six years and 'Best Seafood' category for three years in the annual survey conducted by Maui's local daily newspaper The Maui News. Each day Maui's fishermen call Chef Bob to tell him what they're bringing in, which gives him and his kitchen staff the freshest fish available. Since they are right on the Ma'alaea Harbor, Chef Bob can inspect the fish before it's even off the boat.
